About PowerToolsPros Job Lab

A static UK planning resource for making assumptions, arithmetic and source limits visible before a tool or site-work decision is recorded.

What the Job Lab is

PowerToolsPros Job Lab is a static collection of browser-based calculators, practical guides and printable planning records. It is organised around real decisions: electrical load, exposure, task fit, dust control, quantities and time. The Calibration Bench layout uses ruled records, units and stop blocks instead of product cards or rankings.

The resource is public and written in UK English. It is not a contractor, hire company, retailer, training provider, competent person or regulatory authority. No founder, office, professional credential or operating organisation is claimed because none has been supplied for publication.

What the calculators do

Each calculator applies a fixed formula or bounded decision table to the values entered in the browser. Inputs, units, assumptions, source keys, research date and registry version remain visible. The same validated inputs and registry version produce the same result.

Tools are labelled statutory exposure calculation, exposure record, planning estimate, fit check or control prompt. Those labels constrain the result language. A planning estimate reports arithmetic; a fit check reports declared gates; a control prompt routes only combinations covered by its source table.

What they do not do

The calculators do not approve equipment, issue a safety or compliance verdict, assess operator competence, inspect a site, locate services, verify a rating plate or replace manufacturer instructions and task assessment. Unknowns that affect a conclusion are not filled with friendly defaults: the result is withheld and the missing confirmation is named.

Printed and shared records preserve what was entered. They do not make an input true. The person responsible for the work must check current equipment data, site conditions and legal/control duties and obtain competent advice where needed.

Independence

PowerToolsPros Job Lab is an independent planning resource. At launch it carries no advertising, affiliate links, paid placements or retailer recommendations. Its calculations do not rank or recommend products.

The launch site contains no partner links or commercial result slots. If that posture changes, it requires an explicit policy and privacy review; a commercial relationship must not silently alter a formula, source classification or stop rule.

How sources and corrections are handled

Consequential claims link to a canonical record in the source register. Legislation, HSE guidance, manufacturer data, policy and arithmetic are distinguished. Publication, issue, update, legislative commencement and access dates are not merged.

Methodology explains semantic registry versions, golden vectors, rounding and change control. A source change triggers review. If support for a claim disappears, the affected statement or output is withheld until a directly verifiable replacement and tests are accepted.

Contact status

We want factual and calculation errors to be corrected. We do not currently publish a contact email or contact form, so there is no public correction channel at launch. When the operator supplies a contact route, it will be published on this page and corrections will follow the change-control process described in Methodology. Please do not invent or infer an address.

This absence is a known limitation, not an invitation to contact source publishers about Job Lab. The privacy notice and accessibility statement describe current launch behaviour.
