How to read this register
Sources are classified as legislation, Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidance, technical-body or independent guidance, and manufacturer/technical-publisher input. Legislation is labelled separately because guidance and product data are not law. Manufacturer values remain tied to the cited model, range or document.
Date labels are literal. “In force” is reserved for verified legislative commencement. “Published”, “issued”, “edition” and “updated” describe the source’s own date where known. “Accessed” is the day the URL was retrieved; it does not prove when a page was published or last changed. An undated page says “Publication date not stated”.
The groups below come from the current 12-tool registry and the Job Pack decision map. They show classification, registry version, research date and ordered canonical source keys. The builder keeps its frozen S1–S27 map labels in printable records, but each label resolves through a tested bridge to one stable key here. A canonical record preserves the URL selected during research even if the same document is reachable through tracking parameters or mirrors. Link availability is checked separately from claim meaning: an HTTP response does not prove a statement, and a later redirect is not silently accepted as equivalent. PDF manuals and model pages are read in their stated scope.
Two Makita records remain visible with a trusted-TLS verification gap. Their URLs and source membership are not hidden, but the battery guide withholds the manufacturer-specific claims until a normal trusted browser or continuous-integration environment can verify the primary pages, or a directly verifiable manufacturer replacement is approved.

Tools using transparent arithmetic only
The consumables estimator uses units = ceil((quantity ÷ entered yield) × (1 + entered waste percentage)). The hire-duration planner counts inclusive calendar days and optionally divides an entered purchase price by an entered weekly hire price. Both methods were researched on 24 July 2026 and are registry version 1.0.0. No external formula authority is claimed for this elementary arithmetic.
Corrections and source changes
